This post forms part of a series of ARU uniforms. More info here.
Most international sporting teams have well established alternate uniforms. Well established rugby nations generally have had an aversion to this practice. Australia has been one of the last holdouts and has been hesitant to wear anything but their iconic green and gold.
The clash uniform is a recoloured version of the primary, with a dark teal body and metallic gold accents on green bands. The colour scheme is an attempt to make a more darker and formal interpretation of the green and gold while standing out from any other colour scheme in world rugby.
