The NZ Warriors have released a new home and away jersey for 2012 with a striking resemblance to a design I put out about 2 years back.

This is the start of a new and hopefully big project which plans to cover the NRL in a far more detailed aspect than I’ve done previously. Here, I’m covering the basics of the NRL branding that will relate to the work I do further down the track.
I decided to simplify the logo, focusing on the lion and castle elements as well as removing a lot of the clutter from the uniforms. The alt is based on the original colours of the club before switching to cherry/white.
Starting a new series here, I’m not hugely familiar with the history of the Super League there may be cases where I post something that they wouldn’t realistically wear. Anyway, I really like the look of the older Bradford uniforms …
